Frequently Asked Questions
Logistics & Getting Started
I see clients by telehealth only, so we meet online wherever you're most comfortable. I'm licensed in California, Oregon, and Idaho.
Texting is best. Reach me at (208) 435-8760 and we'll set up a free 20-minute consultation.
That call is a chance to get a feel for my energy and personality and to ask any questions or voice any concerns you have. If it doesn't feel right, no problem at all. If it does, we book your first session.
Once we decide we're a good fit, I'll send over the intake documents and we'll get your first appointment on the calendar.
Sessions are 50 minutes, and we usually meet once a week.
We'll build a treatment plan together. You set the pace. Your comfort is my biggest priority, so you can open up on your own timeline. Trust isn't easy, and sometimes it takes time.
In California, I'm credentialed with most insurance companies. In Oregon and Idaho, I take private pay only.
I work with men, women, and teens (roughly ages 13 to 70), as well as couples. I'm always LGBTQ friendly.
Therapy & My Approach

Flash EMDR was created to be easier on the nervous system. Regular EMDR can be intense, and that intensity can be triggering for clients with severe trauma.
Flash EMDR is a lighter version of the original, designed to be gentler while you do the work.
Yes, I work with many artists. I believe art, music, and writing therapies can be woven into any treatment when that's how you best reach your thoughts and emotions, or simply how you prefer to communicate.
For therapy sessions, it's just me.
I also run a trauma retreat called Root Warrior Retreat. It's a comfortable place right by the ocean where you come for a week of individual and group sessions daily, along with a full schedule of yoga, meditation, massage, Ayurvedic meals, Tai Chi, therapy dogs, and guest speakers.
I did. It's a novel based on true events, about childhood trauma and how it can follow you into adult life, shaping your relationships at home and at work.

Let’s Find Out if I’m Your Person
You want this to stop hurting, and you want it to stop soon. That’s fair, and it’s a good reason to pick up the phone.
There’s a version of your life where you say the true thing on the first try, the door stays open, and your voice comes back without an apology attached to it.
We’ll find out together whether I’m the right person for this.
