Build the Bridge Between Childhood and the Teenage Years
I’m Going to Explode!!!
Mom: I don’t know why you don’t want to talk to me anymore?
Teen: I need someone to talk to that’s not going to punish me for what I say. There’s so much I need to express but can’t with my family.
They all still think I’m a kid. Why can’t they see me for who I’m becoming?

Why Can’t They Understand? I Can’t Tell Them Everything
Mom: My child isn’t getting the same grades they used to. They’re up all night, talking to god knows who.
I just worry about them. I worry about their future. These are the most important years for them to do well and get into a good college.
Teen: I’m so scared all the time. The new kids, new school, new teachers, new expectations, rules, peer pressure, it’s too much!
I feel like all of this pressure is crushing me. I’m sorry if I’m not student of the year and I didn’t make the honor roll, but I’m just trying to survive this jungle that is high school!
A Neutral Safe Space
When your child is growing up fast and they’re shutting down, finding them a safe space is imperative.
When your mom just doesn’t get the things you’re going through but you need to talk, I’m here.
High school is a tough place to navigate, so let’s build the bridge between childhood and the teenage years with lots of patience, understanding, and guidance that can bring the family back together.

Talk to Someone Who Sees Who They’re Becoming
I work online with teens and their families across California, Oregon, and Idaho.
If your child is shutting down and you don’t know how to reach them, we can talk about what they need.
Texting is best. Reach me at (208) 435-8760 and we’ll set up a free 20-minute consultation.
Let’s Find Out if I’m Your Person
You want this to stop hurting, and you want it to stop soon. That’s fair, and it’s a good reason to pick up the phone.
There’s a version of your life where you say the true thing on the first try, the door stays open, and your voice comes back without an apology attached to it.
We’ll find out together whether I’m the right person for this.
